How I took One Podcast and Put across Multiple Platforms

It all started in Audacity, where I recorded a podcast episode that I felt I needed to put out there for my personal brand. However given how I say my "p"s and some excess HVAC noise. I thought it would be best to put it into Adobe Podcast:

Adobe Podcast editor

From there I had a ready file to upload to my podcast host.

Transistor.fm

When I uploaded it I needed two things:

So I went into canva and used one of my own pre-made templates to save time. Refactored it a bit to fit the need. I had a thumbnail, of which I could also use for social images too.

Using the audio file I went onto the free riverside transcription tool to get a written version of this post. However it was formatted poorly, and had a few typos. Thus I put it into ChatGPT to reformat it into something readable.

The next thing was to make it into a video. Now if it was already an MP4 file I would just use OpusClip. However it needed that visual format first, so I decided to use another strong tool on the market. Headliner App.

Using this I could create an audiogram for socials.

I took this same audiogram and posted it to both LinkedIn and Instagram. As it fits my demographic.

Instagram I used the image I made in canva as the thumbnail as well, so I got to repurpose that again.

Using that thumbnail I can send a link post to it on Pinterest as well.

Then I took the transcription I recovered from Riverside, and put it at the end of a blog post for SEO purposes. I tossed the transcription into Chat GPT to reformat it into a more readable experience.

Added in the embeds for the PolyCast player, and the instagram post (because why not), and then even added a bit of my own PIOS notes into the post for good measure.

Creating a rather decent post for people to understand the system.

All of this from a 9 min solocast, that now has a written/audio/video version of it, as well as microcontent. While the post itself is short and sweet. You can do this for any length or format.

This is part of the Content Ecosystem that I talk about here on PolyTools. Understanding how to reformat, repurpose, and reuse your content for wider reach.

Finally, I was able to take this a step FURTHER, and even more meta. By creating a post on the PolyTools site that you are reading now.

By doing all of this, and then explaining my strategy. I was able to create another piece of content in one of my sub-brands!

Let me know if you think of a way to make this go farther even still.
